Rector of Freiburg University visits Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation

Corona had previously prevented the visit of the Rector of the University of Freiburg, now she came to Waiblingen for the first time since taking office: Her Magnificence Prof. Dr. Kerstin Krieglstein and Julia Wandt, member of the rectorate (for Science Communication and Strategy), discussed upcoming joint projects and general cooperation between the university and the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation with the board and founder Robert Mayr, board member Michael von Winning, the chairman of the board of trustees Andreas Hesky and managing director Alexander Burghartswieser.

The foundation and the university can look back on more than twenty years of cooperation. Since then, the foundation has approved more than 15 million euros in funding for the university. There will also be exciting projects supported by the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation in the future. The focus is on sustainability research.
