Alexander Burghartswieser appointed Managing Director of the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation

Alexander Burghartswieser was appointed Managing Director of the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation on 1 January 2019. Eva Mayr-Stihl and her husband Robert Mayr founded this independent, charitable foundation in 1986. Today, it has a capital of more than 150 million euros. "The appointment of Mr Burghartswieser expresses our satisfaction for his extraordinary achievements. He has contributed significantly to the increased professionalization of the foundation's work, " says founder Eva Mayr-Stihl. Burghartswieser joined the organization on May 1, 2010, as the first full-time employee.
