Fast and unbureaucratic Covid-19 help for Klinikum Stuttgart

The Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation supports the Klinikum Stuttgart in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic with immediate financial aid of one million euros. The funds are to be used quickly.

The foundation's founder, Eva Mayr-Stihl, explains the additional support: “We have been working with the Klinikum Stuttgart for many years, for example in the Stuttgart Cancer Center. So it goes without saying that we also help in the current emergency situation. "
In the past years, the foundation had made substantial donations to the Klinikum Stuttgart. Cooperation with the Stuttgart Clinic will remain a cornerstone of the foundation's activities in the coming years.

The medical director of the clinic, Prof. Jan Steffen Jürgensen, thanked the foundation: “The Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation provided enormous, fast, pragmatic and extremely generous support. This helps us to master the big tasks. But it is also a visible and strong signal that spurs us on, obliges and motivates us. The willingness to help is very important.” The commercial director of the clinic, Dr. Alexander Hewer, welcomed the donation: "We will use these funds directly to strengthen and promote our employees who do great work under difficult conditions."
