Southeast Bavaria clinics

The Südostbayern clinics are a group of clinics made up of six locations: Bad Reichenhall, Freilassing, Berchtesgaden, Ruhpolding, Trostberg and Traunstein. They hold a special place in the heart of the founder, Robert Mayr, because he was born in the Traunstein Clinic. That is why the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation supports various projects there. Among other things, in the course of the corona pandemic, a special laboratory was set up in which, in addition to the analysis of PCR tests, sequencing can also be carried out.

"With its commitment, for example, to the clinic's own Covid-19 rapid laboratory, the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation has already done a lot of positive things for health care in the region. For this enormous support from the two founders, Eva Mayr-Stihl and Robert Mayr I can only say a heartfelt 'God bless you'. "

The wards had already been equipped with a new system beforehand that automatically records, documents and digitally saves the patient's vital parameters, including blood pressure, pulse and temperature, to be measured several times a day.

Most recently, with the support of the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation, two ECMO devices were purchased that take over the heart or lung function of a patient in emergencies.
